The Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) saw his Lord in a dream, and He placed His hand between his shoulders in the dream, so he felt its coolness. Thus, he came to know what is in the heavens and what is on earth, in a manner befitting the station of prophethood and messengership to be aware of. As we said in the previous session, this is a form of seeking nearness, because this would be equating Allah (Mighty and Majestic) in the attribute of knowing the unseen.
