How much water is it permissible to drink while standing?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :
And those behind him are Ibn 'Umar, who reported that they used to drink while standing during the time of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him).
So the answer is the same answer; what is the answer from a legal hadith of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)? It is
that this was before the prohibition, as you heard in detail. Likewise, the report that Ibn 'Umar reported about them, that they were
drinking while standing, this was before they became aware of the prohibition. So the hadith is marfu' (traced to the Prophet), and the answer to it is like the answer
to all explicitly marfu' hadiths. But here is something, and it is from the subtleties of hadith science. The scholars of
mentioned reconciliation between two differing hadiths in more than a hundred ways. One of these ways is when two marfu' hadiths
are in conflict, one of which is explicitly attributed to the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) and the other is not explicitly attributed, the explicitly attributed one is preferred
when there is a conflict. The hadith that is explicitly attributed to the Messenger is preferred over the hadith that is not explicitly attributed to the Messenger. And this
is an example: they were in the time of the Messenger. Here it can be said that the Messenger did not become aware of this, and it is possible to say so, but the original principle is that
this is not said. As long as ... to the time of the Messenger, its ruling is marfu' (traced to the Prophet), as we informed you earlier. But if it is contradicted by a hadith
that is explicit, then the attribution to the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) is not possible, and reconciliation between them is not possible by any of the more than a hundred ways, and
nothing remains but this way, which is that this is explicitly marfu' (traced to the Prophet), meaning the hadiths of prohibition, and this is not explicitly marfu' (traced to the Prophet) from
the possibility that the Messenger did not see those people drinking in his absence, so the Companion reported what he saw. But we do
not know that the Messenger saw ... This is said in case of conflict. The ways of reconciling between conflicting hadiths are more than a hundred, and among them
is the correct guidance by attributing the one that is not correct to the one that is correct. And this is what I intended to explain. And praise be to Allah, Lord of
the worlds. Please proceed.
