Does the mujahid in the path of Allah who dies with a debt prevent him from entering Paradise because he did not settle his debts?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : The fighter or the mujahid in the path of Allah.

The Shaykh: Yes.

The questioner : Before my brother, the Shaykh, and may Allah reward him with good, and those present, he was studying fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence), and he had circles of knowledge. We were unaware that the mujahid in the path of Allah stands at the gate of Paradise because of not settling his debt; we did not know that. Now, by the grace of Allah upon us, we have come to know it.

The Shaykh : Praise be to Allah.

The questioner : As for the mujahid, if he carried out all the commands issued by Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He)—prayer, fasting, Hajj, zakah (the obligatory alms), all of it—and the only thing he left was the debt, do you think—and the circumstances of jihad became easy for the Muslims to fight in the path of Allah—does this debt actually prevent him from entering Paradise?

The Shaykh : No, there is no hadith (a report of the Prophet's words or deeds) that says this martyred debtor does not enter Paradise. Rather, the hadith says:
Every sin of the martyr is forgiven except the debt يُغفر للشهيد كلُّ ذنبٍ له إلا الدين
But whether he enters Paradise or does not enter Paradise is a separate matter. That is, we cannot say about the non-martyr that if he died in debt, he does not enter Paradise; about the non-martyr. So what can be said about the martyr?! But we say that the death of the martyr with a debt prevents the forgiveness of this specific sin, which is the debt, while the other sins are forgiven for him.
