The Ikhwan questioner’s praise of the Shaykh, and his being considered one of the lovers of the Ikhwan group

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : I am a witness, and I have lived with the Ikhwan since the beginning of the 1950s, that we never felt on any day that you were a stranger to us, and we did not feel either that the scientific output you provide is different from what we are upon. Throughout this period that we have lived in the Ikhwan and still do, we do not accept a creed except the creed of the Salaf al-Salih, and the methodology is also the methodology of the Salaf, and this does not conflict with the original call of the Ikhwan.

The Shaykh : Correct.

The questioner : And you detailed that in your speech, may Allah reward you.

The Shaykh : And you.

The questioner : Unfortunately, this stance that you mentioned from the leadership of the Ikhwan in Jordan fundamentally conflicts with the path that al-Banna (may Allah have mercy on him) followed, which you referred to a moment ago.

The Shaykh: Yes.

The questioner : Al-Banna (may Allah have mercy on him) had a close relationship with "Rashid Rida" and with "Muhammad al-Khatib," and he relied on them, and he felt that the call of the Ikhwan benefits from the verifying scholars, and errors must occur in his era and in every era.

The Shaykh: Yes.

The questioner : And al-Banna (may Allah have mercy on him) said in the sixth point of the "Teachings" letter what the previous Imams affirmed, that if his speech conflicts with the Book and the Sunnah, it must be thrown to the winds, so I am amazed at these people, may Allah forgive us and them.

The Shaykh: Amen.

The questioner : How do they study the life of al-Banna and his methodology, then resort to such unfortunate stances, and the truth is that I know the answer you mentioned regarding your connection to the Ikhwan and your love for them, and with this, renewal is necessary, and what would harm the Ikhwan if the methodology of the Salaf and the scientific method in verification and understanding matters were the foundation of their call?! But with all regret, many people of desire and many of the superstitious entered the Ikhwan, and these people cannot imagine that the books of Shaykh Nasir and his call would spread everywhere, so they resorted to such spreading of rumors and to stirring the emotions of the young Ikhwan to tell them that Shaykh Nasir is an enemy of the Ikhwan...
