The Shaykh : The Shaykh says: How is this question? It is a question from a follower of the later generations, not a follower of the Salaf; because we always tell you, forever and ever, that asking about hidden matters is not permissible. And the questioner, naturally, feels with me that there is no verse, nor even a hadith, in which the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) explained to us how Satan was able to whisper to Adam (peace and blessings be upon him). Therefore, we believe that Satan whispered by the text of the Qur'an, but as for the manner, we fear to say: asking about it is a religious innovation; expel the man, for he is an innovator.
