The reason for the difference between the methodology of the Khalaf and the methodology of the Salaf.

Matters appeared after the third century that had not existed before, and this was due to the mixing of Muslims with others and the entry of foreign cultures into the Muslim community. The cultures of the Christians who had become Muslims, as well as the Jews, the Greeks, the Indians, and the Persians, entered after the massive Islamic conquests. These cultures influenced the Muslims, unfortunately, especially those in whom Islam had not become firmly established in their hearts. They were dazzled by them, and when they looked into them, which was something new to them, they were taken with them and dazzled. So they began to pay attention to them, and some of the princes and rulers who did not understand the reality of Islam and did not care about the matter and its seriousness began to give them large rewards in order to translate the books of these foreign nations for the Muslims.
