I prayed Maghrib yesterday at "Masjid al-Salania," and the radio was on; apparently an employee there, in a room behind the door, had the radio on reading the Qur'an to the furthest extent, in the mosque... some of them, he thinks he is broadcasting the Noble Qur'an to the people, not knowing that this broadcast is wrong. And that is not the point here. The Noble Qur'an ended, and you know that our broadcast, which is not affected by the fatwas of our scholars who say: it is not permissible to mix the Qur'an with musical instruments, so it broadcasts a musical piece after the Qur'an. So I heard this music while we were praying Maghrib from the middle of the mosque. This is something truly terrible. Also, images have started entering the mosques. How is that? The first hurdle or filter, as they say, that allowed images to enter the mosques was that these images are not by hand but by machine; so the image taken by machine is permissible, and the image drawn by hand is not permissible, as if the images taken by machine were not also taken by hand. You set the machine for a million years and do not extend your hand to aim it at the target, and then press the button, and it will not take a picture for you at all. In any case, from here the misguidance started to creep into the mosques. You pray in a mosque and you find an image of the Ka'bah in front of you, and around it the people circumambulating the House. Correctly, look now how evil proceeds. Initially, these people are not distinct, like black or blue dots, and so on. But a time will come—unless Allah wills otherwise—where you will find the people circumambulating to be full-grown adults. You might find an image of the King, for example, circumambulating alone, with one or two guards, and so on. And thus evil proceeds little by little; so beware.
