Tafsir of Surat al-Nur
Question: Allah the Exalted says in His noble Book: [al-Nur: 26] the verse, is
the meaning of this verse that this is in this worldly life or in the Hereafter? In this worldly life, there are cases of marriage that do not follow this principle, for there are many husbands and wives who are wronged in this regard, so what is the ruling?
Answer: There are two opinions in the interpretation of the verse:
The first opinion: Al-khabithat: meaning the wicked words, which are spoken to the wicked men, and the wicked men [speak] the wicked words, meaning that the wicked speak words that suit them.
And it was said: The intended meaning of al-khabithat here is the women who commit zina,Meaning: women who are not chaste, who are open sinners, for the wicked men, and the wicked men who are not chaste for the wicked women, meaning the open sinners for the wicked men, and the wicked men who are not chaste for the wicked women, meaning the open sinners, and this is as in the beginning of the surah [al-Nur: 3] , so it is not valid for a chaste person to marry a wicked woman, and likewise it is not valid for a wicked man to marry a chaste woman, this is the essence of what was said regarding the two verses.
In any case, the verse indicates that these wicked people are suited to what is of their nature in terms of words and persons, and that the good people have the good things, the good men, or the good words are spoken to the good men, and the good men have the good words.
Question: And what about the statement regarding the husbands and wives in this time who may be wronged?
Answer: The intended meaning of al-khabith is not what the questioner understood,The meaning of khubuth (evil) is: rather it is either wickedness in character, or wickedness in speech.

Question: What is the meaning of the saying of the Exalted:[Ash-Shu'ara 26:224] [al-Shu'ara: 224-226] , and who are the ones intended by this description? Is this specific to a certain time, or does it continue until the Day of Resurrection?
Answer: Allah says:[Ash-Shu'ara 26:224] to the end of the verses, this is mentioned by Allah in the context of purifying the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) from the attributes by which the polytheists described him; because they described him as a fortune-teller,Allah the Exalted said: [al-Shu'ara: 210-211] .
And they described him as a poet,So the Exalted and Majestic said:[Ash-Shu'ara 26:224] so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is not a poet either, but rather he is a prophet from Allah.
So His saying, the Exalted:[Ash-Shu'ara 26:224] : meaning that this is a description of blame for the poets; because the poetry of poets generally includes ugly invective or indecency and lewdness, or false praise, and most poetry is blameworthy,For this reason they say: the most bitter of them is the most false, so it is from the work of the astray.
And it was said:[Ash-Shu'ara 26:224] : the intended meaning of al-ghawun here is the devils; because the devils approach the poets, and every poet has an opinion from the jinn.
In any case, this is a description of blame, then he explained a second attribute of the poets,He said:[Ash-Shu'ara 26:225] : meaning that the poets compose in every art of contradictions, of praise and blame, invective and indecency, and so on,
and they turn truth into falsehood and falsehood into truth with their poetry and words, so they wander in the valleys of falsehood, and they color their intentions and their poetry according to what they want, so they are fluctuating, they do not remain in a state, sometimes they praise and sometimes they blame, and sometimes they acknowledge open sinfulness, intoxicants, and zina, and so on, this is from the attributes of most of them.
And the third attribute is: That they say what they do not do, so they urge generosity, courage, and heroism, and most of them are cowards and stingy, and they do not carry out what they say, and perhaps they praise themselves with things that are not among their attributes, so they say what they do not do, and this is one of the greatest types of defects, that a person says what he does not do [al-Saff: 2, 3] , then Allah excepted the people of faith and the people of truth from the poets [al-Shu'ara: 227] , so the poets who used their poetry to support the truth and refute the falsifiers, these are the ones Allah the Mighty and Majestic excepted, such as Hassan ibn Thabit, Ka'b ibn Malik, and the poets of the Companions whose poetry became for the Islamic call and the defense of the truth, and the protection of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him), so this is considered jihad in the path of Allah, and support of the truth, and these are the ones Allah excepted from the blameworthy poets.
Question: So it is understood from this that this verse does not blame poetry in itself, but rather the poets who are characterized by these attributes, but if it is used for the purposes of supporting Islam and elevating its status, then this is a praiseworthy matter.
Answer: Yes, and it falls under jihad.

Question: What is the meaning of the saying of the Exalted: [Fatir: 28] ? And does this mean that those who are not scholars do not fear Allah? And which scholars are intended in the verse?
Answer: Allah the Glorious and Exalted, when He mentioned His cosmic signs from creations and the variety of their colors,He said:[Fatir 35:28] .
The scholars meant here are: the people of Islamic legal knowledge, the transmitted knowledge from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that knows Allah the Glorious and Exalted and His signs and His power and His blessing upon His servants, so the people of knowledge of Allah are those who fear Him with true fear, and this is among the verses that contain praise of the scholars and commendation of them; because they are the ones who fear Allah the Glorious and Exalted with true fear, if they act upon their knowledge and fulfill their right upon them, unlike the scholars of misguidance, for they are not so, the scholars of the Jews and those who follow their path from the scholars of misguidance, the intended meaning here is the scholars who act upon their knowledge, for Allah the Glorious and Exalted informed that they are the people of His fear, as He mentioned their testimony with His testimony,By His saying: [Al Imran: 18] ,And Allah the Exalted said: [Al Zumar: 9] , and the texts in this regard are many, and this verse is among them, and as for those who are not people of knowledge, some of them fear Allah according to their knowledge of Allah the Glorious and Exalted, but most people in fear of Allah and the greatest of them in fear of Allah are the people of knowledge,And the knowledge intended here is: the prophetic Islamic legal knowledge.
Question: Allah the Exalted says in His noble Book:
Evil words are for evil men, and evil men are [subjected] to evil words. And good words are for good men, and good men are [an object] of good words
الْخَبِيثَاتُ لِلْخَبِيثِينَ وَالْخَبِيثُونَ لِلْخَبِيثَاتِ وَالطَّيِّبَاتُ لِلطَّيِّبِينَ وَالطَّيِّبُونَ لِلطَّيِّبَاتِthe meaning of this verse that this is in this worldly life or in the Hereafter? The fornicator does not marry except a [female] fornicator or polytheist, and none marries her except a fornicator or a polytheist
In any case, the verse indicates that these wicked people are suited to what is of their nature in terms of words and persons, and that the good people have the good things, the good men, or the good words are spoken to the good men, and the good men have the good words.

Question: What is the meaning of the saying of the Exalted:
And the poets - [only] the deviators follow them;
وَالشُّعَرَاءُ يَتَّبِعُهُمُ الْغَاوُونَ(225) Do you not see that in every valley they roam (226) And that they say what they do not do? -
أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّهُمْ فِي كُلِّ وَادٍ يَهِيمُونَ وَأَنَّهُمْ يَقُولُونَ مَا لَا يَفْعَلُونَAnswer: Allah says:

وَمَا تَنَزَّلَتْ بِهِ الشَّيَاطِينُ وَمَا يَنْبَغِي لَهُمْ وَمَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَAnd they described him as a poet,So the Exalted and Majestic said:
