How a sick person makes up missed prayers

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
His Eminence the Shaykh: A person was admitted to the hospital and was not praying, thinking that if he was unable to perform the actions, he would make up the prayers after leaving the hospital, even though he was able to perform them in their proper form, albeit with difficulty. Is it obligatory for him to make them up consecutively, or does he make up each obligatory prayer with its counterpart?
First, may Allah reward you. A sick person who is unable to move by standing, sitting, bowing, or prostrating must pray, even if only with his eyes, as the jurists said. Some scholars do not establish prayer with the eyes due to the weakness of the hadith reported on this matter. As for praying with the finger, as the common people do, this has no basis. Some of the common people say: If you cannot bow, prostrate, or indicate, then [you do it] with the finger. When standing, you are like this. When you bow, you (bend) slightly. When you prostrate, you (bend) more. This has no basis; we have not seen it in the Book, nor in the Sunnah, nor in the words of the scholars. But we say: If you are unable to move, then intend with your heart, and the tongue is generally not incapacitated. But if he is also unable, he intends in the heart: The takbir, recitation, bowing, prostration, standing, and sitting. If we assume that some people did not pray, thinking that if they were unable to move, they would postpone the prayer until they recovered, or thinking that their clothes were dirty with impurity,And he says: saying, "If Allah grants me health, I will wear pure, clean clothes and then pray."

So we say: The sin is dropped from him based on his interpretation, even though in reality he is considered negligent; because it is obligatory to ask the people of knowledge. However, the obligation to make up the prayer is not dropped from him; he must make it up. He makes it up in order, all at once, without waiting for each prayer to be performed in its time. If we assume that he left ten days of prayer and he is able to pray them in one day, let him do so; because making up the prayer is an immediate obligation.Meaning: You must hasten to do it. As for what is common among the people that one makes up the midday prayer with the midday prayer, and the afternoon prayer with the afternoon prayer, until they are finished, this is an error.
As for one who is unconscious, whether he is unconscious due to the severity of the illness or due to an accident that befalls him, there is no making up of prayer for him; rather, the prayer is dropped from him; because he is unable to wake up. This is unlike the sleeper, for whoever sleeps through a prayer or forgets it, let him pray it when he remembers it.
The one under anesthesia makes it up, because his unconsciousness or loss of reason was by his own choice.
