The Ruling on Staying Overnight in Mina and Muzdalifah

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Is it obligatory to stay overnight in Mina for the entire night, or for most of it? And the same for Muzdalifah?
As for Muzdalifah, let him remain until he prays Fajr and it becomes very light; this is the best. However, if he has weak people with him, they may leave at the end of the night—Meaning: before Fajr, in the last third of the night. As for Mina, the matter is easy; because it is not like Muzdalifah in the obligation of staying overnight there. The obligatory thing is to remain there for most of the night, and it is not obligatory to remain for the entire night. But if it is assumed that he did not find a place in Mina, we say: descend where the people's tents end.
And likewise, if it is assumed that he descended to Makkah to perform Tawaf al-Ifadah, but he was unable to reach Mina until after the dawn had risen,So we say: nothing is required of you.

The questioner: In Muzdalifah, who leaves after midnight without an excuse, meaning: he does not have weak people with him?The Shaykh: No,We say: Do not leave except in the last third of the night.

The questioner: Does he have to offer a sacrificial animal, O Shaykh? The Shaykh: One must look into the reason: Is he a traveler who left before the specified time? Is he ignorant or not ignorant? And is it for an excuse or without an excuse?Meaning: Did passing through prevent him from descending, because a person sometimes cannot descend and walks directly?
