Exegesis of the saying of Allah the Exalted: (And He does not fear their consequences)

Allah the Exalted said: [Surat al-Shams: 15] This means that Allah the Exalted does not fear the consequences of those whom He punished, nor does He fear their repercussions; for He possesses sovereignty and everything is in His hand, unlike other kings. If kings were to prevail over others or punish them, you would find them in fear, apprehensive that the tables might be turned against them. But Allah, Mighty and Majestic, (does not fear their consequences), meaning He does not fear the outcome of those whom He punished; for He, Glorified and Exalted is He, possesses all sovereignty and all praise belongs to Him. So Glorified and Exalted is He! How great He is! And how majestic is His authority!
