Allah the Exalted said:
Allah is al-Samadاللَّهُ الصَّمَدُ
[Surat al-Ikhlas: 2] is an independent sentence, in which Allah the Exalted stated that He is al-Samad,What is the meaning of: (al-Samad) ?The most comprehensive of what was said regarding its meaning is: that He is the Perfect One in His attributes, to whom all His creations are in need,It was reported from Ibn Abbas that al-Samad is: He is the Perfect One in His knowledge, the Perfect One in His forbearance, the Perfect One in His majesty, the Perfect One in His power.
up to the end of what is mentioned in the athar, and this means that He is self-sufficient regarding all creations; because He is Perfect, and it was also reportedIn its exegesis: that al-Samad is: the One to whom the creatures turn for their needs.

And this means: that all creations are in need of Him,And on this basis, the comprehensive meaning of al-Samad is: the Perfect One in His attributes, to whom all His creations are in need.
