The Shaykh’s call to moderation in ghusl and wudu'

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner: This is not obligatory according to them.

The Shaykh: No, we do not say that moderation is obligatory, but people differ from one person to another. So every person who performs wudu', and indeed every person who performs ghusl, should observe the Sunnah in this matter. If he intends to do so and then adds more, there is no harm on him. He should only intend to follow the Sunnah.

The questioner: This is widespread among the Habash thatThe Shaykh : Al-Albani issues a ruling that whoever performs wudu' with more than two mudds is sinful.

The Shaykh: Two liars. We say he should follow the Sunnah, as I told you just now.

The questioner : May Allah reward you with good.
