Allah the Exalted said:

While the Hereafter is better and more enduring.

وَالآخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ وَأَبْقَى

[Al-A'la: 17] The Hereafter is better than this world and more lasting. It is better because of the bliss and eternal joy it contains, which is not spoiled by any sorrow.

No fatigue will touch them therein, nor from it will they [ever] be removed.

لا يَمَسُّهُمْ فِيهَا نَصَبٌ وَمَا هُمْ مِنْهَا بِمُخْرَجِينَ

[Al-Hijr: 48] It is also more lasting than this world; for the duration of this world, as we have mentioned, is transient and fading, whereas the duration of the Hereafter is eternal, the eternity of eternities.
