Explanation of the definition of the obligatory: That for which its doer is rewarded for compliance and its leaver is punished by choice

What is meant by the definition of the obligatory: That for which its doer is rewarded for compliance and its leaver is punished by choice?

Meaning: That which one does in compliance, because a person may perform an obligatory act without compliance with Allah, for it may be a habit, in which case he is not rewarded for it, even if his obligation is thereby discharged. Likewise, a person may perform an obligatory act without the intention of worshiping Allah occurring to his mind,For example: such as finding a drowning man in the water and saving him from drowning without it occurring to his mind that he intended thereby to comply with the command to save one in distress. As for leaving it in compliance, that is necessary.

and its leaver is punished, meaning: He deserves punishment for leaving it,And his statement: (by choice) meaning: if he was forced to leave it and coerced, he is not punished for that, because he was coerced into leaving it.
