Ruling on donating blood to obtain a driver's license

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
What is the ruling on donating blood when there is no need or dire necessity?
I do not think anyone is asked to donate blood without a need or dire necessity.

The questioner: As for the one who applies for the license—the driver's license—the medical examination involves donating blood; you must donate blood.

The Shaykh: Meaning: they do not give you the license unless you donate blood? The questioner: This is necessary.

The Shaykh: And if there is no blood in it and it is not sufficient for him? It appears that this is not permissible because it resembles a sale, and it is established from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he forbade the price of blood,But if they encourage the person and say: As long as Allah is providing for you and you have plenty of abundant blood, give us some of your blood; perhaps we will save a person from death with it. There is nothing wrong with this. So, donating blood, if it does not harm the person, has no harm in it; because blood is replaced quickly, unlike donating organs. If you donated organs, they would not be replaced a second time.

The questioner: Regarding this type of examination, is donating blood obligatory? The Shaykh: In any case: if you are compelled to donate,And they said: We do not give you an examination or a license except with this, then do it as long as it does not harm you.
