Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and his Companions, and upon those who follow them with excellence until the Day of Judgment.

To proceed: This is Thursday, the ninth of the month of Muharram (year 1416 AH), and it is the second meeting of this year. We begin it by explaining the words of Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He:

When the earth is shaken with its [final] earthquake

إِذَا زُلْزِلَتِ الْأَرْضُ زِلْزَالَهَا

[al-Zalzalah:1].

Allah, Mighty and Majestic, says:

⁽¹⁾ When the earth is shaken with its [final] earthquake ⁽²⁾ And the earth discharges its burdens ⁽³⁾ And man says, "What is [wrong] with it?" - ⁽⁴⁾ That Day, it will report its news

إِذَا زُلْزِلَتِ الْأَرْضُ زِلْزَالَهَا * وَأَخْرَجَتِ الْأَرْضُ أَثْقَالَهَا * وَقَالَ الْإِنْسَانُ مَا لَهَا * يَوْمَئِذٍ تُحَدِّثُ أَخْبَارَهَا

[al-Zalzalah:1-4] This is the answer to the condition.
