Exegesis of His saying, the Exalted: (And maids of equal age)

Allah the Exalted said: [Al-Naba: 33] (Al-Kawa'ib) is the plural of ka'ib, which is a woman whose breasts have become distinct and have not sagged, but have emerged and become prominent like the knee (ka'b), and this is the most perfect state of beauty in the chest. [Al-Naba: 33] That is: of the same age, with none of them differing from the other in age as is the case with women in this world; because if one of them differed from the other in age, the balance between them might be disrupted, and one of them might be distressed if she did not match the other, but they are of equal age.
