Ruling on combining prayers for the traveler

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Is it correct that combining the Zuhr and 'Asr prayers by delaying them during travel is valid until the sun sets? And what is the recommended practice regarding combining prayers during travel?

First: It is not permissible to delay the 'Asr prayer until the sun turns yellow, let alone delay it until sunset or near it.By the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): (The time for 'Asr is until the sun turns yellow) whether in combining or not combining, whether in residence or in travel.

Second: If combining is permissible, it is only permissible within the time of permissibility.Meaning: It is not permissible to delay combining until the sun turns yellow. As for the ruling on combining during travel, it is permissible, but it is better not to combine except when there is a need. The need arises when the journey becomes urgent, if one is continuing in his travel, or if he arrives at the town he intends, which is not his home, and becomes tired and wants to delay the prayer until he feels a bit refreshed, then there is no harm. And in this case -Meaning: If the traveler needs to combine, combining is better—either combining by advancing or delaying, whichever is easier for him. For this reason, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would combine when his journey was urgent, and would not combine when he was staying.
