The Descent of the Qur'an in Portions

Machine translationRead the Arabic original

The people of the Sunnah and the community believe that the Qur'an descended in two ways: in portions and with the revelation,So the question is: Does Jibril (peace be upon him) bring the revelation from Allah (Mighty and Majestic), or from the House of Glory in the lowest heaven?

First, your saying: The people of the Sunnah believe that the Qur'an descended in two states: in portions and scattered; this requires consideration; because not all the people of the Sunnah are on this view,Rather, the apparent meaning of the Qur'an: that it descended in portions and did not descend all at once to the House of Glory; because this is only narrated from Ibn Abbas with a chain that requires verification, but it descended directly from Allah. Allah the Exalted said:
(192) And indeed, the Qur'an is the revelation of the Lord of the worlds. (193) The Trustworthy Spirit has brought it down (194) Upon your heart, [O Muhammad] - that you may be of the warners -وَإِنَّهُ لَتَنْزِيلُ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ * نَزَلَ بِهِ الرُّوحُ الْأَمِينُ * عَلَى قَلْبِكَ لِتَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُنْذِرِينَ
[Surat al-Shu'ara: 192-194] And you see in the Qur'an verses that speak about something that has already happened,Such as the saying of Allah the Exalted:
And [remember] when you, [O Muhammad], left your family in the morning to post the believers at their stations for the battleوَإِذْ غَدَوْتَ مِنْ أَهْلِكَ تُبَوِّئُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ مَقَاعِدَ لِلْقِتَالِ
[Surat Aal 'Imran: 121] ,And such as His saying:
Certainly has Allah heard the speech of the one who argues with you, [O Muhammad], concerning her husbandقَدْ سَمِعَ اللَّهُ قَوْلَ الَّتِي تُجَادِلُكَ فِي زَوْجِهَا
[Surat al-Mujadilah: 1] ,And such as His saying:
We know that you, [O Muhammad], are saddened by what they sayقَدْ نَعْلَمُ إِنَّهُ لَيَحْزُنُكَ الَّذِي يَقُولُونَ
[Surat al-An'am: 33] and the like of that, which indicates that Allah the Exalted speaks after these events have occurred. This indicates that Allah speaks with it when He reveals it, and that is what we believe; because Allah the Exalted does what He wills. Whenever He wills, He speaks, and whenever He wills, He does not speak.
