The Permissibility of Supplicating to Allah and Sending Blessings upon the Prophet in Voluntary and Obligatory Prayers

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
If any of the attributes of Allah (Mighty and Majestic) or His names appear in the Qur'an during the prayer, or if some of the names of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) or some of the prophets appear in the prayer,So are blessings sent upon them, and is it said: Glory be to Allah! Is there any difference between the obligatory and the voluntary prayer in this regard?
As for the voluntary prayer, it is established from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in the hadith of Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he stood with him one night, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would not pass by a verse of mercy without asking for it, nor by a verse of warning without seeking refuge, nor by a verse of glorification without glorifying.
This is established.
As for the obligatory prayer, nothing has been reported from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) regarding this, but if a person does it, there is nothing wrong with it. If he glorifies Allah at a verse of glorification, or asks at a verse of mercy, or seeks refuge at a verse of warning, or sends blessings upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) when his name is mentioned, there is nothing wrong with it. However, if he is a follower in prayer and this distracts him from listening to the imam's recitation, he should not do it, because listening to the imam's recitation is more important.
And if the name of a prophet other than Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is mentioned, this has not been reported from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) regarding sending blessings upon him. As for the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him), he is the one upon whom blessings are sent.Until some of the scholars said: If his name is mentioned, it is obligatory for the listener to send blessings upon him, based on the hadith of Abu Hurayrah: "May the nose of the man be ground in the dust, if I am mentioned in his presence and he does not send blessings upon me" (peace and blessings be upon him).
