The Virtues of the Month of Ramadan

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The month of Ramadan has virtues over the others: Among them is that Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) revealed the Qur'an in it,As Allah the Exalted said:
The month of Ramadhan [is that] in which was revealed the Qur'an, a guidance for the people and clear proofs of guidance and criterionشَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ الَّذِي أُنْزِلَ فِيهِ الْقُرْآنُ هُدىً لِلنَّاسِ وَبَيِّنَاتٍ مِنَ الْهُدَى وَالْفُرْقَانِ
[al-Baqarah: 185] .

And among them: that Allah made in it the Night of Decree, for which Allah revealed a complete surah,So Allah the Exalted said:
(1) Indeed, We sent the Qur'an down during the Night of Decree. (2) And what can make you know what is the Night of Decree? (3) The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months.
[al-Qadr: 1-3] and He said in it:
Indeed, We sent it down during a blessed night. Indeed, We were to warn [mankind].إِنَّا أَنْزَلْنَاهُ فِي لَيْلَةٍ مُبَارَكَةٍ إِنَّا كُنَّا مُنْذِرِينَ
[al-Dukhan: 3] so Allah the Exalted described it with blessing.

And among them: that Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) has decreed the forgiveness of sins and transgressions for whoever fasts it with faith and seeking reward,So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: (Whoever fasts Ramadan with faith and seeking reward, his previous sins will be forgiven) .

And the meaning of His saying: (With faith) means: with faith in its obligation, and faith in the reward Allah has decreed for it, (and seeking reward) for this reward,Meaning: that you calculate your fasting with Allah (Mighty and Majestic) that He will reward you for your fasting, so whoever fasts it with faith and seeking reward, Allah will forgive him his previous sins.

And among them: that whoever stands in prayer in it with faith and seeking reward, Allah will forgive him his previous sins, as this is established from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).

And among them: that whoever stands in prayer at night with faith and seeking reward, Allah will forgive him his previous sins.

And among them: that it is the month of generosity and nobility, and forgiveness and excellence, (The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was the most generous of people, and he was most generous in Ramadan when Jibril would meet him to review the Qur'an with him, so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was more generous with good than the sending wind) and Aisha asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), she said: (What do you think if I encounter the Night of Decree, what should I say in it?He said: Say: O Allah, You are the Forgiver who loves forgiveness, so forgive me) .
So it is befitting for the person to seize this opportunity in the blessed month, and to increase in prayer, dhikr, and reading the Qur'an, and charity and excellence toward people through assistance and good intercession, and other types of righteousness and good deeds, so that perhaps Allah the Exalted will treat him with good and blessing.
