The discussion regarding the end of Ramadan and the Night of Decree.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and I send prayers and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his family and companions.
As for what follows: O Muslims, on this night we are concluding a great season in which Allah has bestowed favor upon His servants to forgive their sins and raise their ranks. This season is the blessed month of Ramadan, in which Allah the Exalted sent down the Qur'an as guidance for people and clear proofs of guidance and the criterion. So the successful one is the one who was guided to good in it and whose deeds were accepted, and the loser is the one who was abandoned and not guided to good in it, or was abandoned and his deeds were not accepted.
But be glad, O Muslims, that whatever righteous deed you do seeking the Face of Allah, Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He, will accept it from you.
For Allah, Mighty and Majestic, says:
Indeed, Allah only accepts from the righteous [who fear Him]. إنما يتقبل الله من المتّقين
[Al-Ma'idah 5:27]
So whoever fasts this month out of faith in Allah and seeking the reward of Allah, or stands in prayer this month out of faith in Allah and seeking His reward, He will forgive him what has passed of his sin.
Likewise, whoever stands in prayer on the Night of Decree out of faith in Allah and seeking His reward, He will forgive him what has passed of his sin, whether he knows of it or not. It is not a condition for attaining the reward of this night and its merit and the good therein that a person must know of it. And it—the Night of Decree—does not go beyond the last ten nights of Ramadan; rather, it is more likely to be in the last seven nights, as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to his companions who saw the Night of Decree:
I see that your dreams agree regarding the last week; so he who wants to seek it should seek it in the last week (during the night). أرى رؤياكم قد تواطأت في السبع الأواخر ، فمن كان متحريها فليتحرها في السبع الأواخر
Sahih Muslim 1165a
.
A person should be fearful and hopeful at the conclusion of his deeds: fearful that he may have fallen short in his deeds so they are not accepted from him, or that he is given a small reward; and hopeful for the favor of Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He, and His reward, for His mercy precedes His anger, and His pardon is broader than His punishment.
