Exegesis of His saying, the Exalted: (And He found you destitute and made you content)

Allah the Exalted said:
And He found you poor and made [you] self-sufficient.وَوَجَدَكَ عَائِلاً فَأَغْنَى
[Al-Dhuha:8] meaning: He found you in want, possessing nothing (so He enriched you) meaning: He made you wealthy and enriched people through you,Allah the Exalted said:
Allah has promised you much booty that you will takeوَعَدَكُمُ اللَّهُ مَغَانِمَ كَثِيرَةً تَأْخُذُونَهَا
[Al-Fath:20] And how often the Muslims have taken spoils from the disbelievers under the shadows of the swords, great and abundant spoils; all of it was due to this noble Messenger when they were guided by his guidance and followed his Sunnah, so Allah the Exalted gave them victory through him, and they took spoils from the east and west of the earth. If the Muslim community were to return to the way of the righteous Salaf, victory, wealth, honor, and strength would return to them. But, unfortunately, the Muslim community today, each of them looks only to their own interests, regardless of whether it leads to the support of Islam or the abandonment of Islam.
It is not hidden from one who reflects on the recent events that they are, in reality, a humiliation for the Muslims, and that they are a cause for a great and major evil that is anticipated from behind what has happened, especially from the Jews and the Christians, some of whom are allies of others,As Allah the Exalted said:
O you who have believed, do not take the Jews and the Christians as allies. They are [in fact] allies of one anotherيَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لا تَتَّخِذُوا الْيَهُودَ وَالنَّصَارَى أَوْلِيَاءَ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَاءُ بَعْضٍ
[Al-Ma'idah:51] and they are -I mean: the Jews and the Christians - in agreement on hostility toward the Muslims. None of them wants Islam, nor does he want the people of Islam, nor does he want the honor of Islam. We ask Allah the Exalted to protect us from the evil of the recent matters that cause the forehead to sweat with shame. But Allah the Exalted will support His religion no matter what the circumstances are, for Allah the Exalted is the Supporter of His religion and His Book, even if what has happened to the Muslims has happened,For Allah says:
And these days [of varying conditions] We alternate among the peopleوَتِلْكَ الْأَيَّامُ نُدَاوِلُهَا بَيْنَ النَّاسِ
[Al-Imran:140] perhaps the day will come when the Muslims will strive against the Jews until the Jew hides under a tree, and the tree will call out: O Muslim! O servant of Allah! There is a Jew behind me, come and kill him. And that is not difficult for Allah. But the Muslims need wise and knowledgeable leadership, above all, regarding the rulings of the Shari'ah; for leadership without being illuminated by the light of the Shari'ah ends in calamity, no matter how high it rises, even if it rises to the highest peak, it will descend to the lowest bottom.
Guidance is through Islam and the light of Islam, not through nationalism, not through tribalism, not through patriotism, nor through anything else, but through Islam alone. Islam alone is the guarantor of the honor of the community, but it needs wise leadership that places things in their proper places, is deliberate in matters, and does not rush. It is not possible to reform people overnight. Whoever wants that has wanted to change the ways of Allah, and Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, does not change the ways. This is the Prophet of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) who remained in Makkah for thirteen years calling to Allah, with revelation descending upon him, calling with that which is best. And yet, in the end, he left Makkah fearful and hidden. The call was not completed in Makkah. So why do we want to change a community that has passed through centuries in heedlessness and sleep, to change it overnight? This is folly in intellect and misguidance in religion.
The community now needs a gentle, calm treatment that calls with that which is best.
The Muslim community needs, after understanding the religion of Allah and wisdom in calling to Allah, knowledge of reality, acumen, and experience, and consideration of matters that require far-sightedness, because the results may not become clear in a month or two months, or a year or two years. But the wise person is patient, looks, and reflects until he knows the matters.
It also needs determination, resolve, and patience, because they are necessary. There must be determination that drives a person forward, and there must be patience that keeps a person firm, otherwise matters will be lost, or much of them will be lost.
