Then He, the Exalted, said:

And what will his wealth avail him when he falls?

وَمَا يُغْنِي عَنْهُ مَالُهُ إِذَا تَرَدَّى

[Al-Layl: 11] This means: What will his wealth avail him when he is stingy with it and he perishes, meaning he is destroyed? What does wealth avail? It avails nothing.
