Ruling on a Muslim working alongside a non-Muslim

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
His Eminence the Shaykh: We work in a place where many Hindus and Christians work, and their work is connected to ours. How should we treat them?
Non-Muslims working alongside Muslims is permissible out of necessity, but without necessity, one should not bring non-Muslims to the Arabian Peninsula; for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Drive the polytheists out of the Arabian Peninsula”,And he said: “Drive the Jews and Christians out of the Arabian Peninsula”,And he said: “I will drive the Jews and Christians out of the Arabian Peninsula until I leave no one but a Muslim”, and the danger of non-Muslims in the Arabian Peninsula is great; for this is the peninsula from which Islam began and to which it will return,As it is established that: (It will return to Medina -Meaning: it will go back to it - just as a snake returns to its hole).
So the presence of non-Muslims among us is a danger, my brothers! But we complain to Allah (Mighty and Majestic), and we ask Allah to guide our rulers to look into this dangerous matter.
If you are afflicted by working alongside non-Muslims, treat them as they treat you; except that you do not initiate the greeting to them; for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Do not initiate the greeting to the Jews and Christians”, and do not honor them by making way for them,Meaning: if a group of Muslims meets a group of non-Muslims, the Muslims do not honor them by making way for them; they make them the ones who have to squeeze through, they line up and enter with the crowd one by one.
But you may be afflicted with a calamity where your boss is a disbeliever, and you enter to discuss a need with him, so what do you say?If you say: “Peace be upon you” would be disobeying the Messenger (may Allah’s prayer and peace be upon him), and if you remain silent you fear for yourself, so what do you say? You greet him with something other than the salam,She says: “Good morning,” or “How are you,” or the like,Or you say: the salam, but you do not say “upon you” and you intend the salam, meaning it is required for me and for the righteous servants of Allah, praise be to Allah, the matter is broad, and no one knows what is in your heart but Allah.
