Exegesis of His saying, the Exalted: (And its mixture is from Tasnim)
Then Allah the Mighty and Majestic said: [Al-Mutaffifin: 27-28] The mixture of this drink that is given to these righteous people is (from Tasnim),Meaning: from a spring that is pure in taste; and that is because (the rivers of Paradise spring forth from al-Firdaws; and al-Firdaws is the highest part of Paradise, and the middle of Paradise, and above it is the Throne of the Lord, Mighty and Majestic) as established from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), so this drink is mixed with this goodness that comes from Tasnim;Meaning: from the elevated, high place of Tasnim, which is the Garden of 'Adn.
and His saying, the Exalted: [Al-Mutaffifin: 28] Meaning: that this spring, the flowing waters, and the running rivers are drunk by the near ones.
And here someone will say: Why did He say: (drunk by)?Is it a vessel that is carried, so that it can be said: Drunk from a vessel?
No.
Because the spring and the river are not carried,Then why did He not say: are they drunk from by the near ones? And the answer to this difficulty is from one of two views: The first view: Some of the scholars said that (the letter ba) means (from), so the meaning of (drunk by),Meaning: is drunk from it.
The second aspect: And some of them said that "drinks" includes the meaning of "quenching thirst," so the meaning of (drunk by) is that the near ones are quenched by it, and this view is better than the view before it;Because this view includes two things that make it stronger, and they are: First: keeping the preposition with its original meaning.
Second: That the verb (drinks) includes a meaning higher than drinking, which is quenching thirst.
How many people drink and do not quench their thirst, but if they quench their thirst, they have drunk, and on this basis, the second view is better, which is that the verb (drinks) includes the meaning of quenching thirst.
Then Allah the Mighty and Majestic said:
(27) And its mixture is of Tasneem, (28) A spring from which those near [to Allah] drink.
