The Shaykh : If Allah wills.

The questioner: In Islamic knowledge, and may Allah—Glorified and Exalted is He—guide them. Under their care are people who have gone astray in the depths of darkness, O Shaykh, but they do not see it, or they do not raise those under their care with Islamic knowledge, O Shaykh. And the foundations they build are weak because they lack Islamic knowledge, but in creed, their creed is pure Salafi, O Shaykh.

The Shaykh: In any case, these people...

The questioner: Do we... [support] them in their da'wah to Allah—Glorified and Exalted is He, O Shaykh, or do we disapprove of them, O Shaykh?

The Shaykh: These people are better than those who are not da'is but are not Salafi. One should cooperate with them, enjoin what is right, and forbid what is wrong, until Allah—Mighty and Majestic—guides the one who has gone astray from both groups. It is not permissible to harbor hatred or turn away from one another.

The questioner: May Allah preserve you, O Shaykh.

The Shaykh : And may Allah protect you, if Allah wills.
