The Meaning of Allah’s Words in the Qudsi Hadith: (I have left him and his shirk)

[The Meaning of Allah’s Words in the Qudsi Hadith: (I have left him and his shirk)

O esteemed Shaykh! In Allah’s Words: (Whoever associates with Me other than Me, I have left him and his shirk) Is there a specific time for this abandonment, or is it upon the repentance of the one who associated partners with Allah, or when Allah takes his soul?

Allah’s statement in the Qudsi Hadith: (I have left him and his shirk) means: the very act in which the shirk occurred is not accepted by Allah; but if he repents from it, then Allah accepts his repentance;Because Allah said:
(68) And those who do not invoke with Allah another deity or kill the soul which Allah has forbidden [to be killed], except by right, and do not commit unlawful sexual intercourse. And whoever should do that will meet a penalty. (69) Multiplied for him is the punishment on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein humiliated -وَالَّذِينَ لا يَدْعُونَ مَعَ اللَّهِ إِلَهاً آخَرَ وَلا يَقْتُلُونَ النَّفْسَ الَّتِي حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ إِلَّا بِالْحَقِّ وَلا يَزْنُونَ وَمَنْ يَفْعَلْ ذَلِكَ يَلْقَ أَثَاماً * يُضَاعَفْ لَهُ الْعَذَابُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَيَخْلُدْ فِيهِ مُهَاناً
[Al-Furqan: 68-69] .

So the meaning of His Words: (I have left him and his shirk) does not mean that I have left him forever, but rather that I have left him and his shirk only in the act in which he associated partners with Me, and then if he repents from it, believes, and does righteous deeds, Allah replaces his evil deeds with good ones.
