The ruling on a woman who experiences menstruation before the Tawaf of Departure

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Honorable Shaykh! A woman experienced her period before the Tawaf of Departure, and she is with a group. She is compelled to travel with her group. What should she do?
May Allah reward you. If a woman menstruates before the Tawaf of Departure, and it is possible for her to stay with her group until she becomes pure and performs the Tawaf, that is what is required; because when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was informed that Safiyyah had menstruated, he said: “Is she the one who is holding us up?They said: She has already performed the Tawaf of Farewell,He said: so let her depart.”

And if it is not possible, as is the case in our time: we consider the situation. If she is in the Kingdom, let her go with them and remain in the state of the first release until she becomes pure. When she becomes pure, she returns; because the matter is possible.
And if it is not possible for her to return, such as if she is a resident in the Kingdom and cannot return without hardship and difficulty, or if she is a visitor and it will not be possible for her to return either, then she should wear a protective pad on her private parts so that blood does not flow onto the House—on the Sacred Mosque—then she performs the Tawaf out of dire necessity. Her Tawaf is valid. This is the strongest opinion in this issue due to the dire necessity.
