[Response to those who say: [That the supplication: (O Allah, free our necks from the Fire) is not to be made]

Your Eminence! There is a supplication that some people make, which is: O Allah, free our necks from the Fire.

And one of the students of knowledge said: That this supplication is not to be made, or something like that,And he says: As if the one making the supplication is ruling that he is among the people of the Fire.
No.
This is incorrect,If a person says: O Allah, save me from the Fire, does that mean he has entered it?Of course: No;But I thought he was saying: Why ask for freedom instead of salvation?! I say: There is no harm in asking for freedom instead of salvation,As mentioned in the hadith in the chapter on fasting in Ramadan: (And to Allah belong those freed from the Fire, and that is every night) And it was mentioned regarding one who frees a slave (that Allah frees him from the Fire with every part of him, or with every limb of him, a limb from the Fire) .
