The ruling on performing Hajj on behalf of another person for a specific amount

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
A man was offered a sum of money to perform Hajj on behalf of another person. Is it permissible for him to accept the money, given that without this money he would not intend to perform Hajj due to existing circumstances that prevent him?
If a person is given money to perform Hajj with it, there is nothing wrong with that, especially if the person intends good by it. How does one intend good?First: By fulfilling the obligatory duty of his brother, because many people wish with all their hearts to find someone to perform Hajj for them and for their deceased—such as, for example.

Second: By intending with that money to reach the sacred sites, so that perhaps he may be touched by the mercy of Allah (Mighty and Majestic) in that place.

Third: If he is a student of knowledge, he intends by it that he is going to those sites so that Allah may guide through his hands whom He wills of His servants.
In all three of these intentions, they are good intentions that do no harm. As for the one who performs Hajj for the sake of the money, he is the loser. For this reason, the Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah (may Allah have mercy on him) said: One who takes money to perform Hajj with it has no blame, but one who performs Hajj to take money has no share in the Hereafter.

Meaning: He has no share in the Hereafter.
Therefore, what is recommended is that if one takes on performing Hajj on behalf of another, he should intend what I have mentioned for him. And if he does not want anything but the money, he should not go, for he is a loser.
