The ruling on leaning in prayer

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
His Eminence the Shaykh: There are people in our mosque who, when they reach the first or last tashahhud, lean on a small wall next to them. What is the ruling on that?
As for leaning while standing in an obligatory prayer, it is disliked. If removing the object he is leaning on would cause him to fall, the prayer is invalid. As for leaning while sitting, it does not harm; because if he leans while sitting, he is not affected even if the object he is leaning on is removed, so he does not fall. However, relying on oneself is better and more appropriate.
Leaning while sitting is permissible,Meaning: A person may rest a little. As for leaning while standing, if it is in an obligatory prayer and it is a complete reliance such that if the object he is relying on is removed, he would fall, then the prayer is invalid.
