Is it permissible to lean on the right hand alone?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : As for leaning, when you reminded me after we had prayed Maghrib, and you reminded me when I was leaning on my left hand, you told me that the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
This is the sitting of those upon whom the anger of Allah is. هذه جلسة المغضوب عليهم
So, if a person is leaning on the right hand, is it permissible to lean on the right hand alone?

The Shaykh : No, my brother, there are two matters here, one different from the other. Because the word "leaning," when used in a general sense, means to be leaning like this, as came in the hadith of Abu Bakrah al-Thaqafi that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
The biggest of the great sins are: To join others in worship with Allah, to be undutiful to one's parents أكبر الكبائر الإشراك بالله وعقوق الوالدين
Sahih al-Bukhari 6919
and mentioned other things, and he was leaning, so he sat up and said:
Beware of false testimony, beware of false testimony, beware of false testimony. ألا وشهادة الزور ، ألا وشهادة والزور ، ألا وشهادة الزور
; he kept repeating it until we said, "May he have been silent!" This kind of leaning is when a person is sitting in a state close to reclining and acting like this; there is nothing wrong with it. As for the second matter, which is leaning on the left hand, the hadith came: "And he was leaning on his left hand, resting on it." Do you understand "resting on it"? It means this type of leaning. He said:
It is the sitting of those upon whom the anger of Allah is. إنها جلسة المغضوب عليهم
So this sitting involves this specific leaning, and it is prohibited. As for any other leaning, such as leaning regardless of drinking, eating, or the like, there is no prohibition in it. Is this clear to you?

The questioner : May Allah reward you with good. May Allah bless you.
