What is to be done with usurious funds?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh: Yes.

The questioner : These funds, and this usury, in the case where the depositor refuses to benefit from it, are converted into support for Christianization and churches. It has reached us, to the extent that it has reached us, that the value of these funds converted to Indonesia alone reached 800 million dollars. So what is the way out for these funds? What is to be done with them, O Shaykh, regarding their disposal?

The Shaykh : "I am the one who is tormented among you, while I am the one who did not commit the sin *** So I am like the drop of the one who regrets."

The questioner: Allahu Akbar.

The Shaykh : What do we do, my brother? Subhan Allah, imagine this problem. It is enough for a sane Muslim, and a Muslim in truth, not to deposit his money in the bank, my brother, because this deposit strengthens the enemies, and this astronomical figure is the greatest proof of that. So I say to some people, so-and-so, all his money is usury, and now he wants to repent. What is the solution? I say, Subhan Allah, a person throws himself from the top of a mountain to the bottom of the mountain, or to the valley, and says, "O Shaykh, save me." Why was this not done before this? Why was this not done before this? So I say, our Lord (Mighty and Majestic) says:
But if you repent, you may have your principal - [thus] you do no wrong, nor are you wronged. وَإِنْ تُبْتُمْ فَلَكُمْ رُءُوسُ أَمْوَالِكُمْ لَا تَظْلِمُونَ وَلَا تُظْلَمُونَ
[Al-Baqarah 2:279]
. And when it is said in the language of emotions, "these billions are a strength for the disbelievers," well, have you forgotten that you are the cause? Now they ignore the fact that they are the cause, and then they want a solution to the problem based on benefiting from these forbidden funds. We say, "It has happened what I feared would happen. Indeed, to Allah we return." What is to be done with this money? We say, on the condition that those who ask this question repent to Allah (Mighty and Majestic) with sincere repentance, and withdraw their capital along with the usury, which is called by a name other than its true name, "interest," and they do not benefit from this usury by a single coin, but rather they use it for public facilities for Muslims. But on the condition that they never return to such a thing again. And in my opinion, those who depict this picture, whether rightly or wrongly, this is not their concern; they do not want to repent, but rather they want to continue. So we must know how to eat the shoulder. If we are asked this question, we say to them, first of all, repent to Allah, then withdraw these funds, the capital and the usury, and do not benefit from the usury or a single coin, but rather spend it on public facilities. In the name of Allah.

The questioner : My Shaykh, Abu Ahmad has a question. Our Shaykh, I ask for permission. Peace be upon you.

The Shaykh : And upon you be peace, in the safety of Allah. And we are following up with you, if Allah wills.

The questioner : Regarding the question of the professor... meaning, what is to be done with an amount like this? Meaning... the Muslims should do with it in public places, put it in public places, for example.

The Shaykh : It is as if you were not with us.

The questioner : He says, our Shaykh, the amount is in a disbeliever's country.

The Shaykh : My brother, may Allah bless you. I have answered repeatedly: dispose of usurious funds in public facilities.

The questioner : Excuse me, Abu Ahmad has a question.
