The ruling on one who performs ghusl from major ritual impurity and prays while his garment still bears traces of that impurity

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Your Eminence! A man experienced a wet dream, performed ghusl, and prayed in the same clothes he was wearing when he had the wet dream. Does he owe anything?
He owes nothing. If a man experiences a wet dream and prays in the garment he was wearing when he had the wet dream, and it contains traces of the major ritual impurity, he owes nothing; because the major ritual impurity, which is the emitted fluid, is pure. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to rub his wet parts and scratch his dry parts,Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: (I used to scratch the garment of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) by scratching, not by washing, and he would pray in it) If it had been impure, it would have been obligatory to wash it.

However, incidentally: A person should, when he intends to sleep, clean himself with water, or perform istijmar in the prescribed manner, so that when the emitted fluid comes out, it does not encounter an impure place. Because if he did not perform istijmar in the prescribed manner, but the fluid dried with one or two wipes, and then the emitted fluid appeared, it would encounter an impure place and become impure, and at that point it would need to be washed.
