Divorce of the pregnant woman is effective, and it is the Sunnah divorce

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : If a man divorces his wife while she is pregnant, his divorce is a Sunnah divorce, and the divorce takes effect. It has become widespread among the common people that the divorce of a pregnant woman does not take effect, but this has no basis. In fact, the divorce of a pregnant woman is effective by the explicit text of the Qur'an and the consensus of the Muslims. So if a man divorces his wife while she is pregnant, the divorce takes effect without any doubt or ambiguity. This belief, or this defective notion among the common people, must be clarified and spread by the students of knowledge so that no one suspects anything other than the Shari'ah of Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) regarding divorce. Now, if a man divorces a pregnant woman, the divorce is for the waiting period and not for anything other than the waiting period, for the waiting period, because from the moment he divorces her, she enters her waiting period.
