The Shaykh: May Allah reward you, the scholarsThey say: If one intentionally lags behind until the imam prostrates and stands up, his prayer is invalid; because his imam preceded him by a complete pillar,And if he did not intend it, such as: If he was inattentive, or did not hear the sound; the imam's sound, then he performs the pillar he missed, and follows the imam.

And on this basis, if the imam stands up from prostration to standing while one is inattentive, we say: Prostrate and follow the imam.
