What does the imam bear on behalf of the ma'mum?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
A message from a listening sister (A. A), in which she asks and says: If I am in congregational prayer in the mosque, and I am one of the ma'mum, and I forget and leave out an obligatory act of the prayer, do I make it up with the prostration for forgetfulness? Or is the imam sufficient for me in that, because I am with the congregation? May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
If you are with the imam from the beginning of the prayer, and you forget some of the obligatory acts, then there is no prostration for forgetfulness required of you; the imam bears the forgetfulness. For example, if you forget "Subhan Rabbi al-A'la" (Glory be to my Lord, the Most High), or "Subhan Rabbi al-Azim" (Glory be to my Lord, the Most Great), or "Rabbana wa laka al-hamd" (Our Lord, to You belongs all praise), the imam bears this.
As for if you forget a pillar that is necessary, such as the prostrations, prostration is necessary. If you leave out a prostration from a rak'ah, you stand up when the imam concludes the prayer and you perform a complete rak'ah. Or if you forget the bowing, and you did not bow with the imam due to forgetfulness, when the imam concludes the prayer you perform a complete rak'ah; because bowing and prostration are pillars that are necessary.
As for if you forget something that is obligatory, such as the al-Fatihah, and you forgot it, al-Fatihah is obligatory for the ma'mum as an obligation, it is not a pillar in the case of the ma'mum. If you forget al-Fatihah, or the ma'mum forgets al-Fatihah, there is nothing required of him, and there is no prostration for forgetfulness if he was with the imam from the beginning of the prayer. As for if he was a masbuq, then he performs the prostration for forgetfulness, after he makes up what is required of him. If he left out an obligatory act due to forgetfulness, then he prostrates for forgetfulness after making it up. There is nothing required of him if he was a masbuq. As for if he was with the imam from the beginning of the prayer, then the imam bears it, if he left out only an obligatory act, such as reciting al-Fatihah in the case of the ma'mum, the tasbih in bowing and prostration, and saying "Rabbana wa laka al-hamd." This is obligatory. If the ma'mum forgets it, the imam bears it. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
