Exegesis of the saying of Allah the Exalted: (For them is what they wish therein, and with Us is more).
Allah the Exalted said: [Q:35]: That is, for these righteous people,What they wish therein, that is: In Paradise.
: That is, an increase beyond what they desire and wish; for the human being, by his nature as a created being, is unable to exhaust all things, and his hope is cut off such that he does not know what he wishes; but these people of Paradise, whatever they desire therein, it is present.
Good! If a person desires a specific fruit, like pomegranates or grapes or the like, will he find it? He will find it. At any time? At any time. Whatever a person desires and seeks, it is present and not withheld.Rather, Allah the Exalted said: That is, We give them more than what they desire and wish.And among the increase is: Looking at the Face of Allah (Mighty and Majestic).
And for this reason, Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah (may Allah have mercy on him) and others among the scholars of knowledge used this verse as evidence for affirming the seeing of Allah (Mighty and Majestic).And he said: Indeed, this verse:[Qaf 50:35] is like the saying of Allah the Exalted: [Yunus:26].
We ask Allah the Exalted to make us and you among them, and to grant us the looking at His noble Face in the Gardens of Pleasure.
And all praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon his family and all his Companions.
Allah the Exalted said:
They will have whatever they wish therein
لَهُمْ مَا يَشَاءُونَ فِيهَاAnd with Us is more
