Exegesis of the saying of Allah the Exalted: "For them is what they wish with their Lord. That is the reward of the doers of good."

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Then Allah the Exalted said:
They will have whatever they desire with their Lord. That is the reward of the doers of good - لهم ما يشاؤن عند ربهم ذلك جزاء المحسنين
[Az-Zumar 39:34]
For them لَهُم
meaning for these the righteous
What they wish مَّا يَشَاءُونَ
meaning what they wish with their Lord, and He is Allah (Mighty and Majestic). He attributed lordship to them specifically, specifically, because the lordship for the righteous is a lordship?
The student: Special.

The Shaykh : Special, not like the general lordship that includes the disbeliever and the believer, the righteous and the wicked, but rather it is a special lordship.
They will have whatever they desire with their Lord. That is the reward of the doers of good - لَهُم ما يشاؤن عند ربهم ذلك جزاء المحسنين
[Az-Zumar 39:34]
that ذَلِكَ
meaning that their reward is what they wish
The reward of the doers of good. جزاء المحسنين
the doers of good who did good in the worship of Allah and did good to the servants of Allah. So excellence in the worship of Allah is explained by what the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) explained it with:
To worship Allah as if you see Him, and if you cannot achieve this state of devotion then you must consider that He is looking at you. بأن تعبد الله كأنك تراه فإن لم تكن تراه فإنه يراك
Sahih al-Bukhari 50
And excellence in dealing with creation is that you bring to them what you love to be brought to you; you love for them what you love for yourself. Yes, O Fawwad, what is excellence in the worship of Allah?
The student :

The Shaykh : And in dealing with creation?
The student: ...

The Shaykh : What you love to be brought to you. Good, you have done well.
