Exegesis of the saying of Allah the Exalted: (And We have left it as a sign, so is there any who will remember?)

His statement:
And We left it as a sign, so is there any who will remember?
[Al-Qamar: 15],His statement:
And We have left itوَلَقَدْ تَرَكْنَاهَا
The pronoun "ha" (it) in this word is a point of disagreement among the exegetes: Does the meaning refer to: "And We have left this story, which is the story of Noah and the drowning of his people, as a sign for those who come after them"? This is one view.

And the second aspect:
And We have left itوَلَقَدْ تَرَكْنَاهَا
That is: the ship,And the meaning is the genus, namely: The type of this ship We preserved as a sign for those after Noah, and both possibilities are plausible,And the rule in exegesis is: The rule in exegesis is that if a verse allows for two meanings that do not contradict each other, and neither is stronger than the other, then it is to be understood as encompassing both meanings.

So we say: Allah left the story as a sign and a lesson for those who come after Noah, and He left the ship as a sign and a lesson for those who come after him to build something like it,And what indicates this view and that it is not impossible is: That pronouns sometimes refer to the genus rather than the individual,Its parallel is the saying of Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He):
(12) And certainly did We create man from an extract of clay. (13) Then We placed him as a sperm-drop in a firm lodging.
[Al-Mu'minun: 12-13] We created man from a drop of clay. What is meant by "man"? Adam.
Then We placed him as a sperm-drop
[Al-Mu'minun: 13] It is not Adam who was made a drop in a firm place, but rather man, which is the genus of Adam, namely the sons of Adam,And similar to that, according to some scholars, is the saying of Allah the Exalted:
And We have certainly beautified the nearest heaven with stars and have made [from] them what is thrown at the devilsوَلَقَدْ زَيَّنَّا السَّمَاءَ الدُّنْيَا بِمَصَابِيحَ وَجَعَلْنَاهَا رُجُوماً لِلشَّيَاطِينِ
[Al-Mulk: 5] The lamps in the sky are not the ones that the devils are pelted with, but rather shooting stars that emerge from them and are used to pelt the devils.

His statement:
so is there any who will remember?
[Al-Qamar: 15] The question here is for the purpose of arousing interest,Meaning: Is there anyone who will remember and take a lesson from what happened to those who denied the messengers, namely their destruction and ruin? And it was said: The question is for the purpose of command,And that the meaning is: So remember. Whether we say it is for arousing interest or for command, it is obligatory for us to remember and to fear the punishment of Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He). The punishment of Allah the Exalted for this Ummah specifically cannot encompass them all, but it may encompass certain regions that are taken by the punishment for what the foolish among them did,As Allah the Exalted said:
And fear a trial which will not strike those who have wronged among you exclusively, and know that Allah is severe in penalty.
[Al-Anfal: 25].
