Exegesis of the saying of Allah the Exalted: (Or do they possess the unseen, so they write it down?)]
Allah the Exalted said: [Surat al-Tur: 41] What is hidden from the people that they preserve?
And
No, they do not possess knowledge of the unseen. In fact, the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) himself does not know anything of the unseen. A thing may be in his house and he does not know it. Indeed, he once entered one day while a pot was boiling on the fire with meat in it, and he did not know what it was. Also, Abu Hurayrah was with him, and he withdrew from him, and he did not know for what reason he had gone.
In conclusion: The Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) himself does not know the unseen, so those below him are even less likely to know it. And Allah the Exalted commanded him to declare that he does not know the unseen,So Allah the Exalted said: [Surat al-An'am: 50] And here He says to these deniers: [Surat al-Tur: 41] ?And the answer: No.
