Exegesis of His saying, the Exalted: (Eat and drink with pleasure)

Allah the Exalted said:
[They will be told], "Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you used to do."
[Surat al-Tur: 19] (Eat) We interpret this as a command verb, and is this command a command of honor or a command of obligation? The command here is for honor,Meaning: They are told: Eat and drink, eat from all the blessings in Paradise,
In both of them are of every fruit, two kinds.
[Surat al-Rahman: 52] ,
In both of them are fruit and palm trees and pomegranates.
[Surat al-Rahman: 68] and in it is every kind of blessing.
And drink from the rivers therein, and the rivers of Paradise are four, which Allah the Exalted mentioned in the chapter of fighting,And it is in His saying, the Exalted:
Is the description of Paradise, which the righteous are promised, wherein are rivers of water unaltered, rivers of milk the taste of which never changes, rivers of wine delicious to those who drink, and rivers of purified honeyمَثَلُ الْجَنَّةِ الَّتِي وُعِدَ الْمُتَّقُونَ فِيهَا أَنْهَارٌ مِنْ مَاءٍ غَيْرِ آسِنٍ وَأَنْهَارٌ مِنْ لَبَنٍ لَمْ يَتَغَيَّرْ طَعْمُهُ وَأَنْهَارٌ مِنْ خَمْرٍ لَذَّةٍ لِلشَّارِبِينَ وَأَنْهَارٌ مِنْ عَسَلٍ مُصَفّىً
[Surat Muhammad: 15] .

These are four:
[Surat Muhammad: 15] The meaning of (not stale) is: not changed. Water in this world, if nothing replenishes it and it remains stagnant, it must change and become stale, but the water of Paradise does not change (not stale) .
rivers of milk the taste of which never changesوَأَنْهَارٌ مِنْ لَبَنٍ لَمْ يَتَغَيَّرْ طَعْمُهُ
[Surat Muhammad: 15] Milk in this world, if it remains, changes and spoils, but in the Hereafter it does not.
rivers of wine delicious to those who drinkوَأَنْهَارٌ مِنْ خَمْرٍ لَذَّةٍ لِلشَّارِبِينَ
[Surat Muhammad: 15] The wine of this world has a foul smell, and it turns the sane into the insane, and it also causes headaches and stomach ruin, but in Paradise it does not,
rivers of wine delicious to those who drinkوَأَنْهَارٌ مِنْ خَمْرٍ لَذَّةٍ لِلشَّارِبِينَ
[Surat Muhammad: 15] and Allah the Exalted said in the chapter of the Ranged Birds:
No bad effect is there in it, nor from it will they be intoxicated.
[Surat al-Saffat: 47] .
Eat and drink in satisfaction
[Surat al-Tur: 19] Al-Hani' (with pleasure): is that which has no bad consequence, and no accountability for transgression or excess.
of what you used to do.
[Surat al-Tur: 19] Meaning: because of what you used to do, so the ba (preposition) here is for causality and not the ba for exchange; I say this; because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: (No one will enter Paradise by his deeds) and here He said:
[They will be told], "Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you used to do."
[Surat al-Tur: 19] so Allah the Exalted made that because of the deeds,So some scholars said: How does the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: (No one will enter Paradise by his deeds) while Allah says: (because of what you used to do) ?!! And the answer to this difficulty is to say: The ba comes for causality and it comes for exchange,If it is said: The man entered Paradise by his deeds,So the meaning is: Causality,And if it is said: (No one will enter Paradise by his deeds) so the meaning is: exchange,And I give an example that clarifies this: I sold you the cloth for a dirham, the ba is for exchange, because the dirham became the price for the cloth, this is for exchange,And if you say: I disciplined the child for his mischief, this is for causality, so none of us will enter Paradise by his deeds, because if Allah the Glorious and Exalted were to account us for our deeds, no deed of ours would match a single blessing of Allah. The breath now, which is a necessity of life, goes out of you and comes in without effort or hardship, and how many times does a person breathe in a minute? Many times. And if we were held accountable for our deeds by exchange and barter, one blessing would encompass all deeds. And we do not now feel the blessing of breath, but if one of us were afflicted with suffocation, he would find that breath is among the greatest blessings of Allah,Therefore we say: The ba in His saying: (because of what you used to do) is for causality and not for exchange.

And in His saying: (Because of what you used to do) encompasses all deeds: deeds of the limbs, the heart, and the tongue,So the limbs are: Actions like bowing and prostration,And the words are: Like the remembrances,And the hearts are: Like fear, hope, and reliance, and the like, so all these are called our deeds.
