Exegesis of the saying of Allah the Exalted: (So prostrate to Allah and worship)]

Allah the Exalted said:
So prostrate to Allah and worship [Him].فَاسْجُدُوا لِلَّهِ وَاعْبُدُوا
[An-Najm:62] Prostrate to Allah in humility and submission. The prostration referred to here is all the prayers, not the specific pillar of prostration, nor is it the prostration of recitation; rather, it is general for all prayers. (And worship) This is the operative cause for all acts of worship, and prayer was specifically mentioned and placed first because it is the most important of the visible bodily acts of worship after the two testimonies. And on this basis, the appending in his saying: (And worship) in his saying: (And prostrate) is from the category of appending the general to the specific.Just as his saying, the Exalted:
The angels and the Spirit descend thereinتَنَزَّلُ الْمَلائِكَةُ وَالرُّوحُ فِيهَا
[Al-Qadr:4] This is from the category of appending the specific to the general.
The discussion of what Allah has bestowed upon us regarding this surah, Surat al-Najm, has ended. I ask Allah the Exalted to benefit me and you with it.
