Then Allah the Exalted moved on to a third matter by which food and drink are made fit for consumption, which is fire,So he said: [Al-Waqi'ah: 71] meaning: you kindle: [Al-Waqi'ah: 72]
No, rather You, O our Lord! The tree of fire: It is a tree known in the Hijaz, and it may be known in other places as well, called (al-Murkh and al-Ghafar) This tree has a property: when it is struck with a stone or something else, a spark ignites upon contact and it bursts into flame; it is used to kindle fire, and it is well known,For this reason it is said:
Every tree has fire, but al-Murkh and al-Ghafar are the most intense.
Meaning: It became the greatest of them.
This fire which we kindle, upon which we cook our food, with which we heat our water, and from which we benefit: [Al-Waqi'ah: 72] The answer is: No, rather You, O our Lord!
