Exegesis of the saying of Allah the Exalted: (And He is the Mighty, the Wise)]
Allah the Exalted said: [Al-Hadid: 1] (Al-Aziz) is the One possessing might,And might is: majesty, dominance, and authority, and the like. Thus, Al-Aziz is the One with complete authority and complete dominance, so no one can overpower Him, Mighty and Majestic. The pre-Islamic poet says:
Where is the escape, and the God is the Seeker, and the one with the broken nose is the one who is overcome, not the one who overcomes
Therefore: (Al-Aziz) is the One who dominates in His authority, power, strength, and the like.
(Al-Hakim): It has two meanings. The first meaning: the One possessing wisdom.
And the second meaning: The One possessing perfect judgment.
So it is derived from two things: From wisdom and judgment,Wisdom is: that all His actions, words, and legislation are wisdom, and there is no foolishness in them in any way.For this reason, it was said in the definition of wisdom: It is placing things in their appropriate places. So there is nothing among the actions of Allah or the legislation of Allah except that it has wisdom. If Allah decrees severe heat that destroys the fruits, it is wisdom without doubt. If Allah withholds rain, it is wisdom. If Allah sends death among people, it is wisdom. Everything has wisdom. As for the laws, if Allah permits selling and forbids riba, it is wisdom in its permissibility and wisdom in its prohibition. For we know that Allah is Wise. So He, Mighty and Majestic, distinguished between selling and riba; He permitted selling and forbade riba. And if someone says: Why?We said: Allah knows best. Allah, Mighty and Majestic, is Wise. For this reason, when the woman said to Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her): (O Mother of the Believers! Why does the menstruating woman make up fasting if she menstruates in Ramadan, but does not make up prayer? -A question containing a problem- She said to her, (may Allah be pleased with her): We used to experience that, so we were commanded to make up fasting but not commanded to make up prayer) She (may Allah be pleased with her) argued from the ruling to the wisdom. For we know that Allah, Mighty and Majestic, is Wise. So He did not obligate upon her making up fasting without making up prayer except for a wisdom. But sometimes we know the wisdom and sometimes we do not know it.
Selling and riba: Why did Allah permit selling and forbid riba?We say: Because Allah permitted selling and forbade riba. And therefore, when the people of riba said: Selling is like riba. Allah refuted their statement. So he said: [al-Baqarah: 275] .
So Al-Hakim: It is derived from wisdom, which is: placing a thing in its place. So if Allah rules with something legislatively or rules with something by decree, it should not be a problem for you. If Allah guides you to know the wisdom, that is better. And if you do not know it, know that Allah is Wise.
Also: He, Mighty and Majestic, has the judgment.Allah the Exalted said: [Yusuf: 40] So the judgment belongs to Allah, Mighty and Majestic. Who can lift the judgment of Allah, Mighty and Majestic, when death descends upon a person? No one.
Allah the Exalted said: [Al-Waqi'ah: 83-87] This is not possible, because Allah has decreed this. If He, Mighty and Majestic, decrees wars and trials, who can lift this? Allah, Mighty and Majestic. The judgment belongs to Him.
In legislative matters, who judges between people by the Shari'ah? Allah, Mighty and Majestic.Allah the Exalted said: [Al-Shura: 10] So the judgment belongs to Allah, Mighty and Majestic. So if you know that Allah the Exalted has wisdom in what He legislated and in what He created and decreed, then at that time you submit and do not argue; because the One who ruled with that is Allah. If you know that the judgment belongs to Allah, Mighty and Majestic, between the servants, to what do you refer in legislative matters? To the Book and the Sunnah. And in matters of decree, you refer to Allah. If He rules upon you with illness, you turn to Allah, Mighty and Majestic. If He rules upon you with poverty, you turn to Allah: O Allah, settle my debt and enrich me from poverty.
So if a person believes that all judgment belongs to Allah, if it is a decree of destiny, he submits. And he said: This is the command of Allah, and I am a servant of Allah, and it cannot be other than what it is. And if it is legislative,He said: Allah, Mighty and Majestic, is more knowledgeable and wiser about what is best for the servants.
Allah the Exalted said:
And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
Where is the escape, and the God is the Seeker, and the one with the broken nose is the one who is overcome, not the one who overcomes
Therefore: (Al-Aziz) is the One who dominates in His authority, power, strength, and the like.

Selling and riba: Why did Allah permit selling and forbid riba?We say: Because Allah permitted selling and forbade riba. And therefore, when the people of riba said: Selling is like riba. Allah refuted their statement. So he said:
But Allah has permitted trade and has forbidden interest
So Al-Hakim: It is derived from wisdom, which is: placing a thing in its place. Also: He, Mighty and Majestic, has the judgment.Allah the Exalted said:
Legislation is not but for Allah. He has commanded that you worship not except Him.
Allah the Exalted said:
(83) Then why, when the soul at death reaches the throat (84) And you are at that time looking on - (85) And Our angels are nearer to him than you, but you do not see - (86) Then why do you not, if you are not to be recompensed, (87) Bring it back, if you should be truthful?
In legislative matters, who judges between people by the Shari'ah? Allah, Mighty and Majestic.Allah the Exalted said:
And in anything over which you disagree - its ruling is [to be referred] to Allah.
So if a person believes that all judgment belongs to Allah, if it is a decree of destiny, he submits. And he said: This is the command of Allah, and I am a servant of Allah, and it cannot be other than what it is.
