Exegesis of the saying of Allah the Exalted: (And Our command is but a single thing, like the blink of an eye)
Allah the Exalted said: [Al-Qamar: 50] Meaning: Our command regarding what We intend to bring about is (but a single thing) meaning: once, without repetition. [Al-Qamar: 50] without delay. Glory be to Allah! The command of Allah the Mighty and Majestic is singular, without repetition, and with immediate speed, faster than anything can be, like the blink of an eye. (Be, and it is) It is well known among the common people that they say: (O He whose command is between the Kaf and the Nun) This is an error. The command of Allah is not between the Kaf and the Nun, but rather after the Kaf and the Nun;Because Allah said: [Al-Baqarah: 117] When? After "Be,"So their saying: Between the Kaf and the Nun is an error,Meaning: The command is not completed between the Kaf and the Nun. The command is not completed except by the Kaf and the Nun, but it is after the Kaf and the Nun, immediately, like the blink of an eye. If you wish to see the wonders of that, look at the earthquakes that strike hundreds of villages, or thousands of villages, and in a single moment they annihilate them. If pickaxes and (bulldozers) and bombs were to come, they would not do what a single moment of the command of Allah the Mighty and Majestic does. Ask the experts on earthquakes and you will find the answer.
Look at what is greater than that: the dead in their graves, the insects and animals, and all things, are resurrected on the Day of Resurrection with a single word, as He the Glorious and Exalted said: [Ya-Sin: 53] I ask Allah to make me and you among those who are present for the good (a single call) only, (then they will all be gathered before Us) meaning: in Our presence (assembled) So true is the promise of Allah the Mighty and Majestic, [Al-Qamar: 50] like the blink of an eye.
Then He, the Exalted, said: [Al-Qamar: 51] We stand upon these noble verses and ask Allah the Exalted to make the Qur'an an intercessor for us and for you with Him on the Day of Resurrection, and to be our guide to His Gardens. Indeed, He is capable of all things.
O Allah, O Allah, O brothers! With the great Qur'an, to understand its meaning and act upon it, for it is the healing for what is in the chests, and the admonition for the believers,Allah the Exalted said: [Yunus: 57] .
Allah the Exalted said:
And Our command is but one
وَمَا أَمْرُنَا إِلَّا وَاحِدَةٌLike the blink of an eye
كَلَمْحٍ بِالْبَصَرِBe, and it is
كُنْ فَيَكُونُLook at what is greater than that: the dead in their graves, the insects and animals, and all things, are resurrected on the Day of Resurrection with a single word, as He the Glorious and Exalted said:
It will not be but one blast, and at once they are all brought present before Us.
إِنْ كَانَتْ إِلَّا صَيْحَةً وَاحِدَةً فَإِذَا هُمْ جَمِيعٌ لَدَيْنَا مُحْضَرُونَAnd Our command is but one, like a glance of the eye.
وَمَا أَمْرُنَا إِلَّا وَاحِدَةٌ كَلَمْحٍ بِالْبَصَرِThen He, the Exalted, said:
And We have already destroyed your kinds, so is there any who will remember?
وَلَقَدْ أَهْلَكْنَا أَشْيَاعَكُمْ فَهَلْ مِنْ مُدَّكِرٍO Allah, O Allah, O brothers! With the great Qur'an, to understand its meaning and act upon it, for it is the healing for what is in the chests, and the admonition for the believers,Allah the Exalted said:
