Chapter: The saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): (I was sent with the Hour as these two [fingers]).

The Reciter: In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon the Messenger of Allah. Al-Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Chapter: The saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
The Hour and I were dispatched like these two
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2214Sahih (Darussalam)
.
And the command for the Hour is not but as a glance of the eye or even nearer. Indeed, Allah is over all things competent.
[An-Nahl 16:77]
.

The Shaykh : In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. The author said: Chapter: The saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
I was sent with the Hour.
It is permissible to say "wa al-Sa'ah" (and the Hour) with a kasrah, on the basis that it is conjoined to the taa in his saying "I was sent," due to the presence of a separator between the attached pronoun and the conjoined word. However, if there were no separator, the stronger opinion would be the accusative case. Ibn Maalik said in the Alfiyyah:
And if you conjoin to an attached nominative pronoun, *** separate it with a detached pronoun.
Or with a separator; and without a separator, it is *** common in poetry, and I consider it weak. "

As for his saying:
and the Hour والساعة
the intended meaning is the Hour of Resurrection. It is called "the Hour" because there is no hour greater than it. For this reason, it came with the definite article "al," indicating a mental concept understood by everyone, because it is not a concept known by memory, nor a concept known by presence. Rather, it is a mental concept established in the minds of everyone. It is the greatest thing that befalls a person. He said: And his saying:
And the command for the Hour is not but as a glance of the eye or even nearer
[An-Nahl 16:77]
"The command of the Hour" means its affair, i.e., its occurrence. "Nothing but like the blink of an eye"—the blink of an eye is used as a metaphor for speed.
or even nearer أو هو أقرب
[An-Nahl 16:77]
means "rather, it is nearer." Rather, it is nearer than the blink of an eye, because the One who commands it is the One who says to a thing, "Be," and it is. From the moment the noon in "kun" (be) is completed, the thing has already become. And this is not the affair of the Hour alone, but rather every command among the commands of Allah, Mighty and Majestic. Allah the Exalted said:
And Our command is but one, like a glance of the eye.
[Al-Qamar 54:50]
Then Allah the Exalted said:
Indeed, Allah is over all things competent
And part of His power is the occurrence of the Hour, which will be like the blink of an eye, or even nearer.
