Exegesis of His saying, the Exalted: (And they have no knowledge concerning it; they follow nothing but conjecture, and indeed, conjecture avails nothing against the truth)
Allah the Exalted said: [Surah al-Najm: 28] He denied that they have any knowledge of this; because this is the reality. Did they witness the creation of the angels? No,And for this reason, Allah said in another verse: [Surah al-Zukhruf: 19] ?!!
And
No,But: [Surah al-Zukhruf: 19] when they find no answer,These are the ones who said: the angels are the daughters of Allah,He (Mighty and Majestic) says: [Surah al-Najm: 28] and (knowledge) here is in the genitive case due to the preposition, and the preposition here, according to the grammarians, is Mahdud [Surah al-Najm: 28] an extra preposition,The benefit from it is: for the emphasis of the negation,And for this reason, we give you a useful rule: all extra letters, whether it is the letter ba, lam, or others, they serve to emphasize, [Surah al-Najm: 28] meaning: neither a little nor a lot; because they did not witness your creation of them.
[Al-An'am 6:116] (Inna) here means "ma" (no), and the rule is that when (illa) comes after (inna), it means (ma), (Inna hadha illa bashar),Meaning: "This is nothing but a human being" [Surah Yusuf: 31] meaning: This is nothing but a noble angel, [Surah Ibrahim: 10] meaning: You are nothing but human beings like us, [Surah al-Jathiyah: 24] meaning: They are nothing but conjecturing, and there are many examples of this.
[Al-An'am 6:116] And pay attention to this point: conjecture comes to mean accusation, it comes to mean the preponderance of a thing, and it comes to mean certainty,Allah the Exalted said: [Surah al-Baqarah: 46] the intended meaning is certainty, conjecture is not sufficient on the Day of Judgment, one must be certain,And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: (If any of you doubts in his prayer, let him seek the truth) and seeking the truth here means: the preponderant conjecture, and here [Surah al-Jathiyah: 24] it is conjecture of accusation,Meaning: they conjecture a conjecture that is a delusion with no basis.
And some scholars derived from this verse: that it is not permissible to act on conjecture in jurisprudential issues and others, and this is an error;Because many jurisprudential issues are based on conjecture: either due to the obscurity of the evidence, or the obscurity of the indication, and not every issue in jurisprudence is stated by a person with absolute certainty always, but some is certainty and some is conjecture, and conjecture, when certainty is impossible, is from what Allah has made permissible, and it is a blessing from Allah that when certainty is impossible, we return to the preponderant conjecture, so not every conjecture is blameworthy, but the conjecture that has no basis to be built upon, that is the blameworthy one, so do those who named the angels with the name of the female have any knowledge of that? Absolutely not, a conjecture built on delusion, and perhaps it is built on desire,Meaning: that it did not occur to them that they are females, but they followed their fathers.
[An-Najm 53:28] (And indeed, conjecture) what kind of conjecture is this? The one built on delusion, not on indications, (avails nothing against the truth) meaning: it does not benefit anything from the truth; because it is a false delusion, and a false delusion cannot possibly benefit.
Allah the Exalted said:
And they have thereof no knowledge
And they have made the angels, who are servants of the Most Merciful, females. Did they witness their creation?
And
No,But:
Their testimony will be recorded and they will be questioned.
They have no knowledge of it
They have no knowledge of it
They have no knowledge of it
They follow not except assumption
This is nothing but a noble angel
You are not but men like us
إِنْ أَنْتُمْ إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِثْلُنَاbut they are only assuming.
They follow not except assumption
Who are certain that they will meet their Lord
الَّذِينَ يَظُنُّونَ أَنَّهُمْ مُلاقُو رَبِّهِمْbut they are only assuming.
